Privacy Policy

Dreilokale is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency in how we handle your data.

Who we are

Dreilokale (“Dreilokale”, “we”, “us”) operates the venue matching and lead platform available at dreilokale.ch (the “Platform”).

Controller (data owner for Platform processing):

Dreilokale by Adminkind GmbH
Klosterweg 20, 8913 Ottenbach, Switzerland

If you are a Venue and you receive an event request via the Platform, you may become an independent controller for the personal data you receive and process for your own purposes (e.g., preparing offers, contracting, invoicing). This policy explains what we do as Platform operator.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how we collect and process personal data when you:

  • visit the Platform;
  • submit an event request as an organizer (“Organizer”);
  • create or use an account as an Organizer or Venue;
  • communicate with us (support, email, forms);
  • receive newsletters or marketing communications (if you opt in).

Personal data we collect

Data you provide

Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect:

  • Identity & contact data: name, email, phone number, company/organization (if provided).
  • Account data: login credentials and authentication/session information.
  • Event request data: event type, date/time, number of guests, preferred location/area, budget range, requirements, notes, and any other information you submit.
  • Venue account & business data: venue name, address/location, contact persons, availability, capacity, pricing/offer details, and related business information.
  • Communications: messages to support, emails, feedback, call logs/notes (where applicable).

We ask you not to submit sensitive personal data (e.g., health data) unless it is strictly necessary; if you do, you do so at your own discretion.

Data we collect automatically

When you visit or use the Platform, we may collect:

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, language, pages viewed, clicks, timestamps, referring URLs.
  • Log and security data: event logs, error logs, fraud/abuse signals.

Why we process your data (purposes)

  • Operate the Platform (e.g., create accounts, authenticate users, maintain sessions).
  • Process event requests and enable matching (including facilitating delivery of event requests to eligible venues and enabling proposal responses).
  • Facilitate communications between Organizers and Venues (e.g., messaging, contact workflows).
  • Provide support and handle inquiries.
  • Improve and secure the Platform (analytics, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, security monitoring, fraud prevention).
  • Manage Venue subscriptions/credits and billing (if applicable) and to administer business relationships.
  • Marketing (optional): send updates and offers where permitted and/or with your consent; measure marketing campaign performance where enabled.

How matching and “human verification” works

We use a combination of technology-assisted matching (including rules and/or algorithmic components) and human review to improve lead quality and reduce abuse.

This process is intended to improve relevance, reduce spam, and protect Venues from low-quality requests.

Where automated elements materially affect how a request is routed, you may contact us to request information or to raise concerns about the outcome.

When we share your data

Sharing with Venues

If you submit an event request, we share the information necessary for venues to evaluate and respond. The Platform is designed so that a limited number of venues may receive/access an individual request (for example, up to three proposals may be issued for a request, depending on availability and platform rules).

Service providers (processors)

We may share data with vetted third-party providers that support Platform operations, such as:

  • hosting and infrastructure;
  • email delivery and communications;
  • analytics and performance monitoring;
  • customer support tools and chat widgets;
  • security tooling and fraud prevention.

Our Cookie Policy describes tracking/analytics technologies that may be used where enabled (e.g., Google Analytics, and other tools if implemented).

Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose data if required to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights/safety, investigate fraud, or respond to lawful requests by authorities.

Business transfers

If Dreilokale is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

International data transfers

We primarily operate from Switzerland. If we use providers that process data outside Switzerland/EEA (for example, cloud, analytics, or support tools), we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual protections and/or recognized transfer mechanisms) where required.

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:

  • as long as your account is active;
  • as needed to operate the matching process and resolve disputes;
  • to comply with legal obligations and maintain records.

Operational retention rule:

  • Organizer and event request records: 24 months after request closure, then anonymize/delete.
  • Venue account, billing/credit records: 10 years where required for accounting/tax.
  • Support communications: 12 months.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, such as access controls, encryption in transit, secure hosting, and monitoring. No system is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

access, correct, or delete your data;
object to or restrict certain processing;
withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent);
receive a copy of certain data in a portable format.

To exercise rights, contact privacy@dreilokale.ch. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Marketing communications

If you opt in to marketing, you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us.

Children

The Platform is not intended for children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us to request deletion.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated via the Platform or email.
